Join us on Saturday, April 28, 2018 for a special Scotch Tasting Event at Boyd's Jig & Reel in Knoxville. This fun event, hosted and presented by Boyd's Jig & Reel, will benefit the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games and our fund raising activities. The event will be held from 6-8 PM. Boyd's Jig & Reel is located at 101 S. Central St, Knoxville, TN 37902. Boyd's will present information regarding each of the Scotch whisky brands. This is a fun and educational evening.
As you come in, you will be greeted with "Boyd's Buie," their house-made version of Drambuie with scotch, honey, herbs, and spices - a Jig and Reel specialty. Enjoy charcuterie as you get settled in and learn about the Festival and Games as well as the Ardmore Traditional Highland Single Malt Whisky, our first featured scotch. Help yourself to a truly Scottish feast of shepherd's pie, macaroni rolls, chicken cider pie, root vegetables, and Highland salad while you prepare for your next scotch, Bowmore 12 year Islay Single Malt Whisky. We'll review its flavor profiles and history as we bring dessert, the fluffy Scottish treat of Cranachan. Our nightcap will be Auchentoshan Three Wood Lowland Single Malt Whisky, as we wrap up the evening with some exciting news about the upcoming festival on May 19th and 20th.
Tickets are $55 per person and available in advance at Boyd's ticketing site. All profits will benefit the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games. This event will likely sell out, so please get your tickets in advance to reserve your space.
The event includes Scottish Foods and four scotch flights.
